I worked in sand&gravel quarrying for 31years around bransburton, if you dig a hole in sand&gravel under water it will draw material for yards around to fill the hole, the dredgers that used to run into hulls alex dock, hcan carry 2000-3000 tons per trip when they topped the stock up at hull they would do 3-4loads+at a time thats a hell of a big hole to fill i believe thats whats made the break at spurn. by the way have you seen the hundreds ofthousands of tons of material to fill alex dock to a depth of 30to40ft all dredged off the humber!!

We need our coastline protecting for future generations and for the good of the east riding of yorkshire, you won't realise what you had until it's gone and that's too late . Cease dredging now and give us back our beaches and comfort in knowing our homes, property and livelihoods are safe .

Livelihoods, lives and our heritage are being stripped away from the East Coast of England without due care from our Government. We need to get on top of this before any more irreplaceable damage is done; doing nothing has gone on far too long.

Stop or make the companies responsible for compensation for relocation of all the houses and lands lost. They can't afford the damage they are causing.

The rate of erosion has increased dramatically over recent years. Much faster than the original forecast of previous years.
