This plan is dangerous and short-sighted in the extreme. Also makes me wonder if I made the right choice, moving my family here from Ontario...

Linda Holmes I am on well water and very concerned about the spraying not only to my water, but also to the many other affects to wildlife, people's health as in agriculture and even the air we will be breathing. Why would we take a step backward in this day in age so big companies can make more money at our cost.

My family home is on 30 acres of forest outside Truro in Colchester County. I am vehemently opposed to the proposed spraying plan. I know the natural progression of the forest in that area is that the softwoods are being taken over by hardwoods. Why chemically alter this natural process? The Nova Scotia government needs to get its head of of its own ass (literally its own history) and see itself as more than a natural resource and tourism based economy. Decisions like this show where their heads and loyalties lie.

Enough with the spraying!! We know people are getting paid to let this crap pass. We also know more and more people are being diagnosed with cancers. Once this finds it's way into to OUR (it belongs to all of us) ecosystems there's no getting rid of it. It affects us all from insects on up the food chain. Stop the spraying!! Stop being controlled by the big money companies. This affects your families as well!!

Why not just kill us all now quickly and take the forest for ur own profit instead of making us all sick and killing us all slowly with ur chemicals...these kind of decisions are exactly what's wrong with the world...destroying our planet for corporate profit...
