We don't this spraying. There is nothing wrong with the trees or anything else in this area. If Northern pulp wants softwood for pulp then cut down the ones growing and replace them

Glyphosate, is also the primary active ingredient in the herbicide Roundup, (also banned in most European countries) has had a controversial history since its introduction by herbicide giant Monsanto in the 1970s. Subsequent to the 2015 report released by the World Health Organization’s cancer agency, several European countries imposed extensive glyphosate prohibitions and four were considering bans by early this summer. They forgot to mention that it is banned in many European countries AND it is a known CARCINOGEN that causes CANCER!!!

Spraying something and using a product when there are numerous worldwide studies showing it is not only unhealthy and contaminating of the whole environment but also carcinogenic to the human population just for the pursuit of a short term gain in money is a careless move by our McNeil Government and Northern Pulp. This is not the type of leadership I expect nor want in my province or country.

It’s going to affect animals, bees and pollinators. As glyphosate is applied to our forests, it will get into the soil. How can it not enter our water supply and in turn, we as humans will drink it? Or ingest after hunting any animal that has been in contact with glyphosate?
Not to mention the Spruce Bud Worm infestation currently going on in Northern New Brunswick. The amount of so huge when migrated they were picked via weather radar. Spruce Bud Worm look for softwood. If that's all that's left in our forests, we can expect a visit; I'm sure! We need to get back to Acadian Forests; sustainable forestry. Spraying chokes out diversity and ruins habitat.
