Governments around the globe are acknowledging the dangers posed by glyphosate (including the whole of the European Union). Health Canadian and canadian environmental protection laws are legging behind the rest of the developed world and putting Nova Scotians at risk because of it. Furthermore, this outdated forestry management style of clearcut, plant and spray needs to give way to a more holistic approach that recognizes the full range of values in a mixed wood forest far beyond fibre only. We need to stop using these carsinogins and adopt forestry management practices that enhance forest resilience.

Stop the use glyphosate now! Its should be banned as it will kill our forests, bees, other pollinators, affect the water and then humans.

Do some reading. Glyphosate is one of the worst chemicals...its in everything & everyone! Don't Let it kill hardwood trees for profit!

After many years of dealing with illness and being diagnosed with MCS (multiple Chemical sensitivity) I am extremely concerned about the spraying of a chemical that is a known carcinogen. The damage done to nature and all living beings would be unthinkable.

Please stop this madness. We live in such a beautiful, amazing place. Please DO NOT let this happen. Think of our children.

We need to be protecting forest diversity, not simplifying the community! More diverse ecosystems are more resilient to invasions from pests and environmental disturbances, as well as supporting a broader, more diverse food web. Diverse forests are healthier forests.
