after the recent DMCA take down of fan game AM2R/Pokemon Uranium and subsequent events such as the abuse of YouTube content creators. Nintendo needs to know that they can't continue to abuse their fans like this. We need to stand up for what's right, make Nintendo see that we have had enough. The only way we can make change is together, make Nintendo see that we're not going to continue to take such mistreatment. If you feel the same, dont just sign this petition, don't buy any more Nintendo products and say no with your wallet as well. Nintendo needs to change and suffer the consequences of its actions of abuse towards their fan base.

Fans who have both the passion and skill to make stuff on the scale of am2r should be a love letter to nintendo. There not made to steal credit or make profit of.
I may not have played AM2R or any other fan game before, but I was considering buying it. Nintendo, if you don't like copyrighted trademarks and the game is good, just buy it!
Don't isolate the many children and young adults who grew up on your games. Seeing such made with free labor alone should be a sign that we are passionate over the great games you gave us. Legality aside, making your fan base dislike you is worse than a million reimagined free Nintendo games
It make no sense for Nintendo to be so mean to their fans. Afterall, we are their customers and just because there are millions of us doesn't mean you can freely piss us off. People remember their hatred toward something more than any other emotion. This is not how any business should treat their fans
This definitely needs to end. especially with am2r. they take down the first good Metroid game we have had in years and expect people to enjoy this "Federation Force" crap. I will not stand for it any longer

I'm very disappointed about how Nintendo handled this situation, despite the benefits that could have come from it. Nintendo should learn some PR methods from Sega their Sonic Mania project.
