I'm very lucky to have a career that allows me to travel. I have the opportunity to relocate and live in any major city. Basically I can live wherever I want. I choose to live in federal hill, because of the bars. I think that anyone living in the city that signs a petition to close 17 rrestaurants/bars has some serious issues and should relocate to the burbs.

I was a resident of Fed Hill for 10 years, taught at Thomas Johnson and am currently a real estate agent in the neighborhood. The main reason I moved here is the same reasons my clients have chosen Fed Hill...the Lifestyle. This includes the bars, restaurants, festivals, SOBO sports, nightlife, and walkability. Removing these businesses and festivals would be a huge economic hit to Fed Hill home owners because these younger residents that are drawn to Fed Hill are the ones buying your houses, renting your houses, and making this community thrive!

I too live in Fed so I dont have to get in my car and drive home after a night of drinking. If you like to drink the responsible thing to do is live within walking distance to bars.
