i agree, Mickleover is one of the most desirable areas in Derby that still has a village feel.
this will ruin that, i see that a number of houses next to the proposed developements are coming onto the market, this may be coincidence but but years ago i was next to a new developement myself and got out just before they started building, house prices were pushed down locally because of it.

this will destroy Mickleover, just look at how many properties next to the proposed developments are quickly coming on the market.

A definie NO to this development. The recent rejection of the proposed Hackwood Farm development was welcomed because of local support. Let's try to get this rejected too.

I have already put forward to Derby City Council that all new developements in Mickleover, should be put on hold until the three authorities, covering the Mickleover area, get together to formulate, a joint plan to provide the neccessary services, Doctors, Schools, Shop, and public transport systems etc in place.
We dont need any more houses in Mickleover overall the infrastructure cannot sustain more housing or people.

We don't need any new houses in Mickleover or Littleover. Our schools are already too full and our roads congested, not to mention the stretched doctors and dental services. No more houses PLEASE!!

Lack of investment in the associated infrastructure make this development an ill conceived bolt on to Mickleover. It's unsustainable and unwanted by local residents.
Mickleover is busy enough
Can't get out
