Mickleover cannot deal with these extra houses. The schools, doctors are full. The roads are already too busy and with The Radbourne lane site on line the facilities would not cope. This is on top of having Traffic lights on a busy bypass

This proposed development is in the wrong location, in an area that already has extensive development sites identified in the Local Plans of Derby City, Amber Valley and South Derbyshire. The site has already been rejected as a residential development site as the Local Plan process and should not be allowed to be considered for developed until those sites within South Derbyshire and identified in the Local Plan process. To allow this site would make a mockery of the Planning Process and the democartic process.

I agree with the other comments - too much development, no infrastructure and no thought about the people aready in the area. Bigger does not mean better!

Mickleover already has had its fair share of building. These houses are only for the well off not essential do nothing for the housing problems just developers making huge profits

The area is so conjested at the moment and any future development will only add to this. Please look elswhere as there are so many far more appropriate sites around Derby.

Mickleover can not cope with more houses,schools,parking,dentists,doctors are all full,we still have not had the impact from the development at Radbourne Lane! No to building on green field sites around the country.It has to stop.

How can you even think of putting a roundabout on that busy road. It would cause mayham and many accidents as it is a very fast road and very very busy at peak times. Also, Mickleover is a small village and the people who live there do not want a huge amount of new houses built on their green land.

Keep Green Belt as Green Belt land.Once gone it can not come back. Build on Brown Field sites
I have sent my objections to the council on this before, most people in the area feel the same, we don't want more building here, there aren't the facilities and we don't want more sprawl.

would be totally unsafe not only for the amount of cars, but also for Drs, schools and general driving. With 3 children already, I can't get into the village, Drs and the schools are over subscribed.

I fully support the objections on 4 counts. Burden on the already overloaded infrastructure, yet more attack on beautiful green countryside because this is the easy option over brownfield, creation of a dangerous access point, and finally a developer trying to out manoeuvre the weight of local opinion inc the SDDC.
