STOP THE MADNESS, ELON! Especially because it's almost finals week this is such a bad time to be blaring music... If people want music they'll put their headphones in and listen to it on their own

YES!! I am so grateful that this is happening! The Great Hall was my favorite place to study and was essentially my second home. Bring the silence back!!

I don't mind the talking but the music makes it hard to focus.

The music is extremely distracting. I used to go to the great Hall because it is silent.

I feel like I am in an elevator. I've never done my homework in an elevator and I don't want to now.

Elon has too few study spaces to accommodate the large number of students who need a quiet place to work. People can listen to their own music with headphones.

Please make global commons a silent study again. The argo tea area right through the doors is already gathering space, we need more silent studies.

I walked into the Great Hall two weeks ago hoping for the quiet study I've always gotten there, but was sorely disappointed to find music playing. I hope this petition works!

This should be a study area for students. There are many hang out spots already on campus, we are in need of more study space.

I really miss the silence of the great hall. With the music I am unable to focus, and nothing has changed- everyone still goes in there to work silently. The argument for music is that the great hall was intended to be a 'gathering space', but anywhere on this college campus can be a gathering space. We have so few areas of silent study, this should remain as one of them.
We're losing business at Argo!
