Stop More Apartments in Temple Terrace

Don’t build it, it will cause a lot of traffic on that road

Don’t build it!

We are have more than a few current struggles within our community, Temple Tarrace. I don’t see this as being the source to help any of them.

We do not need more apartment complexes in Temple Terrace.

I have lived in my house for 35 years. My neighbors and I have invested our love in this community, confident that it would be our home and our children’s home, remaining beautiful and crime free. To change the nature of our neighborhood would be a travesty, and a blight on the city of Temple Terrace.

I'm a long time Temple Terrace resident and own two single family homes within Temple Terrace. I strongly oppose any kind of Apartment complex development in this area. It is probably the worst possible land to build on in TT for environmental reasons, traffic reasons, and Florida College student safety reasons. We should build in the areas that need rebuilding and leave these areas alone. Florida College would be screwing themselves long-term on this move. This type of transient, lower income housing right next to the college would not be a great selling point to prospective students looking for a quiet Christian school to attend surrounded by nature. Nobody wins in this kind of deal, except the developer. Not Florida College and not the residents of Temple Terrace.

This will be a traffic disaster and close down open space so needed in TT.

I oppose the proposed rezoning to a higher density residential use. I would support a project consist with current land zoning, but rezoning for the sake of the almighty dollar is unfortunate and completely avoidable.

Stop devaluing our community, please.

No to apartments, congestion, traffic, damage to nature preserve. Single family houses only. 51 percent rentals now is ruining our little town. No more apartments.

I am against this proposed change as it will cause too much traffic congestion and tax an already understaffed, unorganized city staff that can't handle the areas they are responsible for now, let alone take on more problems.

Too many units being considered for that property.

We have enough rentals in Temple Terrace, let’s hear it for single family homes!!!
