I’m proud to be a Big Train! K-12 I graduated in 1996. All my teachers there were a big inspiration to me. Five of my classmates went on to be teachers. Living in a small town and going to school there was a great opportunity. We were all close and learned on different levels. But it all worked out when we all graduated together. I am proud of my diploma, and very proud to be a Big Train at Siver Grove School! Keep the school open, for these children today at that school could play a huge part in the next generations life.

I have helped coach the elementary school and now Middle School boys basketball for 3 years. none of these boys will make the team at Campbell County nor will they have transportation or the financial necessity to play at a school like Campbell County. the small school provides opportunities for children Campbell county can not offer nor are they better equipt to deal with the struggles not only financially but from domestic issues, broken homes, split and merged families, one car families, children without shoes or jackets. These are income issues and not educational issues. Something silver grove is well equipt to deal with. I graduated feom silver grove got a full ride to eku educational scholarship as well as started attending nku my junior year. In no way did they hold back some one wanting to learn. Go big trains!!! Class of 2004. AJ Smith Valedictorian

We don't want the merge! Money should not be the number one issue regarding our children's education. My kids have thrived at Silver Grove schools and I am a PROUD BIG TRAIN alumni!!!

The school being so small is what helped me learn more when i went there. I grew up in silver grove and went to that school all the way from preschool to 8th grade. Keep the big trains alive!!!
