Either make CMA a true military academy or a true state university. You can’t shelter cadets from the real world. The sooner they learn to survive on their own and not on campus the better they will be for life and in society.

There are a multitude of reasons I signed this. Primarily though is I want the experience of being responsible for paying rent, buying my own food and having real freedom to do what I want in my free time. Campus housing does not allow me to to do these things and become a fully developed adult even though the license I will be graduating with says I can be an officer in charge of ships on the oceans.

My friend knows it will be cheaper for her to live off campus and juat have to worry about tuition.

1st Amendment- Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
We should not be “punished” for something students are standing up too. You aren’t able to take away our rights just because You don’t agree with them.

Man, if I’m forced to live off campus it will ruin my plan to start my own fraternity. I would call it Happy Men’s Club. We would support each other physically and emotionally.

I’d like to protest mandatory off-campus housing for non-students at Cal Mairitme. Both my brother and myself did not appreciate being forcefully removed by CMA police, as we quite liked living in URH

I don’t believe the Administration really want to see a deal on Student Housing. They are all talk and no action. This is the time but, day by day, they are blowing the one great opportunity they have. Too bad!

Let the students be adults. Stop forcing them to stay in school housing. Furthermore, a demerit system is just coercion with an added step. If you can't get student involvement without the threat of demerits maybe you should stop blaming students and look at your own methods.
