The situation has become worse over the past couple of years to the point where it's truly impacting the quality of life for our residents. I urge you to spend a few hours in our neighborhood and experience it for yourselves. Property values will continue to be impacted. Getting the necessary policy changes to happen should be VERY EASY to execute. Please prioritize!

Please pass ways to make the low flying planes fly higher, not lower, and put pressure on training schools and private pilots out of Palomar Airport to abide by laws, FAA rules and Carlsbad City rules, laws. We need to protect our community and residents!

The air traffic out of Palomar at all hours has become unacceptable. We have been here 15 years and in just the past 10 minutes this Morning, 3 small planes have flown loud (very loud) and low overhead. Planes used to make their turn further west. Now it’s right overhead the Spyglass neighborhood /Canterbury. It is ridiculous how loud it is!

I am concerned for the safety of my neighborhood with these low flying flights, and concerned for the quality of living that is being impacted by the noise created by frequent, low-flying planes.

In the last few years the pilots of small planes have shown utter disregard for those who live in residential areas. They fly low, they dont go directly over the ocean on take-off and fly wherever they please after.

So loud and late. Our grandbaby sleeps by 7:30 and should be able to not wake up with loud planes.

We object to low flying, loud, planes flying over our homes in Evans Point. Also, the early mornings and late evening take offs are very intrusive. The airport needs to obey the rules of operation. Staying with in the flight paths and hours of operation. We often hear jets after 10pm and before 7am and small prop planes don’t comply to hours, flight paths and AGL rules and fly over our neighborhood, especially the training flight touch and go – These repeat flyover ~ each 5 minutes during training flights. Jet take-off and landing “Quiet Hours” 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Prop take-off and landing “Quiet Hours” 12:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.

I lived here 16 years and the last year has gotten significantly louder! Could the airport make them climb at a higher elevation before they turn back over our homes?

I have been a resident in this community for more than 20 years and the increase in low flying aircraft is now unacceptable, disruptive, and a hazard.

I support this petition to enforce the FAA flight rules of traffic patterns as they should be routed over major highways and freeways that exist. Right hand traffic patter should be West to 5, North to 78, East down the 78 to enter the pattern over commercial areas. Easy to do.

Constant low flying circling aircraft - including what must be military helicopters evenings - over our area all day 7 days each week. Redirect over water.

Definitely notice an increase in noise caused by small planes over neighborhood.

Definitely an increasing issue and particularly irritating/disturbing in the evening noise wise not to mention safety concerns.

The flight path over Heron Bay / Spyglass needs to be changed. Small plane noise is so loud at times it disrupts conversation. We have to pause until the small plane passes.

Re direct flight pattern away from our neighborhood

My objection is focused on small planes that repeatedly fly directly over Heron Bay and have very noisy engines.

Definitely more planes flying lower over neighborhoods lately. No reason airplanes are flying over homes rather than the adjacent commercial space.

The airplane is too loud and too close to our house , I feel it is unsafe .

I have made complaints, sent photos, tail numbers etc. nobody cares. Got one plane that flies over 10-15 times in a row. Get Trump on it, he’ll fix it.
