Loud and low planes and helicopters fly directly over our homes daily.

We moved here recently from Palos Verdes Estates ( about 12 miles from LAX ). We were shocked at the amount of noise these planes produce. It’s very disruptive and prevents us from using our outdoor space.

Loud, low flying planes frequently fly over our neighborhood, and often directly over our home. This happens seven days a week, from early morning into late evening! No meaningful action has been taken to address this situation by the Palomar Airport Advisory Committee.

The sound has gotten louder and goes later into the night than it has ever before. This needs to stop.

As a 16 year resident I fully support this petition. Yes, we knew about the airport but ever since United left the flight school fly overs have increased dramatically. Please realize it is time to act.

I agree that small plane traffic has increased three fold in the past 30 years. They are flying lower than they used to. Have they lowered the altitude they are allowed to fly over our homes?

Planes are flying too low. It was not like that when we first bought our home. Too much noise.

These planes are SO LOW and right over our homes. This was not the case years ago and it’s getting worse by the day. This must end.

It is currently 10:58pm and there is a plane flying directly over my home while I’m trying to sleep! I support Palomar Airport, but please make the flight schools and hobby pilots adhere to the flight path guidelines.

Everyday, ever night, when families and children are sleeping, we have to deal with the low flying planes and the resulting excessively loud noise. Please institute a sense of reasonableness and mandate a few restrictions relative to the time of day and altitude that planes can operate by. It's simple, good commonsense. Show that good hardworking Americans can live in Carlsbad and actually enjoy their lives and time at home with their families without the god awful sound and fear of a plane coming toward their home. My child is afraid ever night these days. She thinks a plane is going to crash into our home and kill us.

Small craft pose quite a noise disturbance early morning and late at night.

The noise is ridiculous and Carlsbad is better than this! The crazy part is this is more about public safety. It is not safe the way the planes circle over our houses at such low altitudes. I have seen too many close calls in the last year, something has to be done before someone in our community is hurt from something that can easily be controlled and fixed.

The flight patterns above our homes has become excessive. In the last two nights alone (5/20 and 5/21) we've counted airplanes making 10 different low passes above our home. It is loud, it is excessive and it needs to be addressed.

It’s 5/21/2020 at 9:00pm and we have airplanes going over our houses like crazy. This should not be happening. It is getting worse and worse, and needs to stop.
