There was an ordinance in place for years in a no fly zone over Carlsbad communities near the airport & it was great! What happened to the policy?

I am tired of the jets and other aircraft taking off during quiet hours. FAA needs to monitor these flights and fine the owners. Flights taking off during these COVID-19 should be restricted. Where are they going?

I have reported low flying helicopters which fly over my house in AltaMira 4 sometimes at less than 200 feet by our measurements and online resources. Turbine engines are quite wide and the art on my walls, cupboard doors, windows, vibrate. They literally rattle the whole house. I have reported specific helicopters to FAA and called the airport and Civic Helicopter many times to no avail. Regulations state that helicopters should fly at 1000 feet, but because of some absurdity it is ultimately up to pilot discretion. This interferes with the peaceful enjoyment of my home. I would be more that pleased to join a class action law suit if it were available. And, even more serious are the plans to lengthen the runway. This is a community! I believe some of our elected officials have financial benefit and interests in lengthening the runway. I would like the helicopters to make every effort to avoid flying over residential areas and there are pathways for that to happen. Commercial helicopters do not have the right to disturb the peace to enhance their profit and that is exactly what is happening.

Keep the planes from flying so low over homes. If they would just fly straight out for 1/2 mile they would be over Palomar Airport Rd and then the ocean. If they should have engine failure, they could glide and land in a safer location than on top of our homes.

Just so you know, traffic pattern altitude for KCRQ is 1800'. Airplanes flying into the airport or practicing landings have to be at that altitude or they are in violation of FAA rules. What evidence do you all have that shows aircraft to be unsafe? According to the NTSB, in 2018 passenger cars caused 12,775 fatalities while general aviation caused 381 fatalities. There hasn't been a fixed-wing fatality at Palomar since 2008.

The hours at which I am hearing low flying planes over my home is outrageous. Early hours of the morning into all hours of the evening. I have lived here for 12 years and have never experienced what is going on currently. There has to be a way for us all to get along!

I’ve been complaining for years. In recent months I’ve called the airport on numerous occasions and no one ever calls me back

Noise complaints fall on deaf ears. Why? Because not enough local representatives are willing to engage and bring pressure on higher levels of government.

I support requiring all pilots to follow the VNAP including student pilots and prohibiting flying over residential neighborhoods after 9:00 PM.

I have called many times 12 one 2 o’clock in the morning complaining about airplanes flying over my home in Ocean Hills country club and this is unacceptable

We live in Tamarack Point; the frequent airplane noise is ever-increasing and disturbs our sleep, which has a significant impact on our health and well-being; this our valid and main complaint.

The noise and low flying planes has gotten worse over the past. Cannot sit in my backyard and enjoy our weather anymore.

These small planes fly directly over my home. All day and into the night. I have had planes over my home at 6am. Thought they weren’t supposed to take off until 6am. Yes many are students. They should not be flying over residential homes.
I have had four fly over while writing this short statement.
