Dore Lake, and the Michel Point area, is a very special place to so many people. One unique feature it has is the seclusion which could be lost with this change to the Cutzone. As well, the road conditions will become especially abysmal with the logging trucks using them making is less safe for everyone involved.

I have been going to Dore Lake for over 30 years now. The proposed CutZone that has been proposed will destroy so many of the things we love about the area -the seclusion, the quiet, the privacy, the wildlife -just to name a few. There needs to be some changes to the proposed cutzone. There should be no cutting allowed on the Michel Point Road, nor cutting close to the lake and the communities surrounding them. It directly impacts the residents and the wildlife and the Boreal Forest would never be the same. I want to be able to bring my children and their children to this special place. If things are allowed to proceed as planned...... there won't be a special place for them to go.
