I have been going to Dore at least twice every year for the last 10 years, the last couple of years with all the logging going on in that area it has destroyed the reason i enjoy it . the trucks wrecking the roads, the bareness of the forest, and the loss of the wildlife habitat is absolutly devistating.

My wife and I visited Dore Lake several years back and were beyond impressed with the pristine environment it provided. It is an absolute jewel - and there are just some place that things like the logging being planned at Michel Point shouldn't occur at... Dore is one of them. Please reconsider the Sakaw's plan.

Clear cutting is just awful not to mention the 924 Hwy is in a very dangerous state most of the time as logging trucks are up and down our narrow road,making it very challenging to drive on.
