I d like not to feel ashamed I have roots in Santorini. No one can be called civilized if they cannot or will not show compassion to animals.

I've visited SAWA and adopted from them, the shelter is not an eye sore. I thought it was very discreet and doing wonderful work for the creatures having to fend for themselves.

This is outrageous. I have told friends not to visit Santorini because of the appalling treatment of animals by some, including authorities.
