SAWA does fantastic work. How can this undemocratic and selfish action be allowed to succeeed putting so many animals at risk and suffering not to mention making the volunteer's life a misery.

Please visit SAWA with an open mind and see the benefit to everyone on the island to maintaining this organization. SAWA gives Santorini a great image, and helps tourism!

I d like not to feel ashamed I have roots in Santorini. No one can be called civilized if they cannot or will not show compassion to animals.

its a disgrace. Cruelty is not acceptable to any living creature especially those who cannot defend themselves but are so loyal to us as humans. I hope you cunts burn in hell across the world for any impact your brainless inhumanity has on these beautiful creatures or the saints who mind them. Karma will get you and I hope it's painful.

I've visited SAWA and adopted from them, the shelter is not an eye sore. I thought it was very discreet and doing wonderful work for the creatures having to fend for themselves.

This is outrageous. I have told friends not to visit Santorini because of the appalling treatment of animals by some, including authorities.
