Stop Little League Vote to Take Year of Eligibility

The problem is that it is broke. For example: My son's birthday is 4/21. There is a kid who's birthday is 5/2. He is in 7th grade and my son is 3rd. He throws 70mph. How is that competitive for baseball? How do you play 90% of the season at 13 in a 200 foot field?

If you do change it you have to grandfather in
All players that are playing in a competitive league in 2014

This us ridiculous. Why are we shorting time for the players. Why be like AYSO. I don't see them in ESPN.
My son is playing A as an 11 year old. Without the exception he misses his Majors year. There are other kids a year or two behind him that would lose this as well for deciding to repeat somewhere along the line. Stop this ridiculous rule.

Good idea, but bad implementation. Start the new eligibility cut off with the youngest age group to allow for a smooth transition.

This rule is extremely unfair to the kids who won't be grandfathered in.

I really hope that this is not passed no child should ever be deny to play baseball for any amount of time. I know that there are many other parents out there that have children that love this sport so much that that is all they talk about I know my boy's do everyday they want to practice if my younger son could be on a baseball field from the time he woke up to the time he went to bed he would and I no that he is still to young to effect him but eventually it will and he would not understand or think that it is fare. so I hope this is not passed.
I have 2 sons in little league one would lose a year and the other would be grandfathered in. The age change is a disadvantage to any boy born after May as they are physically younger and less mature.
