The proposed change should NOT go into effect immediately. This would negatively affect the players currently enrolled.

I agree that current players eligible for all stars should all be grandfathered in.

Do Not Change The Rules, What is the science behind this.We want more kids to play I thought. I have been going to the LL meeting and that's all that's talked about.

This would be extremely unfair to a large group of kids that have been participating in Little League Baseball for the past several years. Do not change!!

They should change it to reflect the school year like every other sport does. Kids born in November and December get a very bad deal. Should be Septmeber 30th or October 31st. I am not sure which of those 2 dates include the majority.

Seems like a very drastic change. While my son's bithday is in June and his eligibility is done this year, it should not be implemented in a way that impacts any players currently in LL Majors baseball Divisions.

This would rob my grandson from his 12 year old year of playing in Little League

Grandfather in ALL Little League Majors All Star eligible ages. Do not steal a year of fun and development from so many young boys and girls.

I understand the League's goals, but I fear that this change is being poorly executed and can be phased in over a greater period of time.

I agree. Crazy for all the kids who'll lose 1 year of eligibility. My Dec son will jump 2 years next year and face kids 2 yrs older than him. This doesn't even fit with the school cutoff to allow kids to play with others in their grade. It is disheartening.

PLEASE Grandfather the rule unitl 2016 and allow existing majors players in the league to play out under the current age requirement. My son was born in August and was not eligible as an 8 yo, he will lose a year under proposed rule change. We do not have a ripkin league in our area and he would be too young for Babe Ruth.

Terrible idea. If you are going to move the date- move it to align with the school year. Your proposed change increases the number of 13 year olds in all stars.

I agree with some 13 year olds being too old and big for the 46/60 field but cutoff date should be back to August where it was, also keeping with school age so kids are playing with kids in their own grades. It is also totally unfair to all of the 10-year-olds out there who will have to be told that by the way, next year may be last year in Little League, And if you're good enough to make the All-Star team, you still have to play against 12 and 13-year-olds and you will never have the chance to compete in the big All-Star season as 12-year-old. I can see where the rule might make sense but they should grandfather in the current 9 and 10-year-olds start the rule with kids that are now eight.
