This rule should either be implemented at the 5YO level and move up with those players or slowly be implemented a month at time over the next few years. To move the age 8 months all at once is ridiculous. This caters to the sponsors (ESPN) so they can have younger players on their LLWS broadcasts and increase their ratings. It also caters to the larger leagues in the South and West who have the finances and size to expand their 13YO divisions. -- Sean Franek Canal LL VP Baseball

Please do not make this change for current players, please only make it apply to incoming T-Ball age players. It isn't fair to current players.

The rule should start with the kids entering minors.

I like the age change. Kids are definitely too old in the current format. If this gets kids more in line with school ages, I'm all for it. However, the points I'm protesting is the grandfather law. It needs to be extended. Too many kids are affected this way.

This rule should not take effect for many years after it is announced. It is outrageous to take away a 10u season and 12u season from certain players with the new guidelines. It cannot be passed unless is sets a future date for implenatation not effecting anyone who is current 7 or older.

If it needs to be changed then all current players that would be affected should be grandfathered in!!!!

If approved, this rule will remove half of the 12 year olds from the Major division, most won't play up,It will also bring 9's up to majors who have not had a chance to develop at the minor level.Bad rule,Let the 12's enjoy there last year on the 60 foot diamond. I

To enact a change like this in sweeping fashion would be extremely unfair to kids who just want to play ball. This type of change needs to be "grown into" in order to avoid a mass exodus of players from little league baseball. The responsible course of action would be to enforce the rule for all players aging into little league eligibility in 2015.

If this is going to be done, it should only be effective for 4 year olds coming in to play!!!

There are a lot of this that Little League is doing that I do not agree with. We either do what is in the best interest of the children or we do not. Forcing the children to play down when they have obvious talent to play up, should be be a remote consideration!

Think of the 6 year old t baller........ The 8 year old player........ Little League will force kids to play down. Opening the real possibility of divisions contracting! What a mess.

Do not change it or just grandfather!

Not to mention lets take the Senior League player or Big League player that is either 17 or 15 respectfully..........the 17 year old will be 19 according to Little League and cannot play any more. The 15 year old will skip his final senior season and go onto Big League, if that league has a team!
