I do not agree that the council should sue ms Barlow. I think the council did not support her endeavour fully at the time by severely restricting her marketing and promoting at little bay which I believe also contributed to the cafe's limited customer base.

Council shouldn't waste pointless money to sue an exceptional, hardworking good member of the community. Spend it to help the potential for the area!! She has been so good for the community. She has already lost money. Isn't that enough!

My family and I loved being at Waterline Cafe. Kelly worked relentlessly to provide a lovely space and beautiful food. As a local ratepayer, I don't want my rates being used to bring legal proceedings against Kelly.

Blind Freddy could see that council would need to do more to assist a small business in this location. Legal proceedings are a waste of money for everyone...perhaps put the energy into creating a viable cafe/kiosk in this spot for the growing community to enjoy all year round?

Kelly's Waterline cafe was just delightful. It brought the community centre to life. I saw how hard Kelly & Jess & staff worked - it makes no sense to me that randwick council is using our rates to sue Kelly. Please decide not to.

Shame on you, randwick council for not sticking to your word and giving this woman her needed catering business in order to maintain a business herself, and now u want to sue her for going broke with tax payers money is just so wrong

Perhaps the council could spend more time on the maintenance of our roads, parks and even mow the lawns rather than go after hard working individuals?

I am against Ms Barlow being sued for the unfortunate closure of her Café which was due to circumstances beyond her control. Ms Barlow worked tirelessly to create a wonderful place that people in the community could enjoy and should not be sued for her regrettable closure of the Café.

Such a disgrace local council not only made it extremely difficult and restrictive for a small business to operate they now sue them. Randwick council are showing that they aren't supportive of local business worth this move.

What a disgraceful use of taxpayer money. We frequented Waterline and know how hard Kelly worked to support her staff and give back to the community. We also had dealings with some staff at the community centre who clearly worked against her with no care for destroying someone's life and business. It highlighted the difference between bureaucrats cashing a pay cheque and a hard-working business owner with their life invested in their business.

We use to be regulars at the cafe and travel from our home in west Sydney. Was so sad to see it go but understood the owners reasons. We wish her all the best. She was such an important part of the local community. This decision by the council is very dissapointing and doesn't want me to bring my business to the local area any time soon.

The legal proceedings are morally wrong and a waste of rate payers money.
