I live in Continental Oark area at 8265 SW 93 Street. I am strongly opposed to allowing a zoning from one home to dozens in our neighborhood. Would a developer have enough lobbying money to get a similar zoning change on Star Island? Would a commissioner dare vote in favor of such a change on La Gorce or other neighborhood with a swanky golf course? If not, then why our neighborhood? Why not a more reasonable zoning change from one home to two or four per acre?

Traffic - Traffic - Traffic!! Too much already. Access to ever-growing Baptist Hospital must remain clear. Integrity of the neighborhood should be maintained. Please deny this application.

I object to any change in the Master Plan. The applicants are just what we used to call "block busters". Shame on them.

Are streets are already over congested and nobody does anything to curb the illegal turns, red light runner and constant speeding. Vote NO!

The developer argues that our neighborhood will have to change, that it will have to convert to high density housing eventually. That is not true, many neighborhoods are not going to change and certainly not by eroding away protections of the Master Plan. However, if we permit a change in the Master Plan to allow the density he is proposing in our neighborhood, our neighborhood will surely change as the precedent will be set.
