Having access to language is a human right! It’s critical for child health and development!

The children have rights to access their language. Please stop to deprive the language. The children are fully accesssible to their language, cultural and early language acquisition.

Please.put this into legislation. All Manitobans deserve to be heard and have access to all services the hearing community have.

I find all to often , many children do not have access to proper interventions until AFTER critical learning stages.

Every child deserves the best chance at an education, however that may look!

I have worked with deaf children for over 27 years, and I am horrified that this petition is even necessary.

ASL should be a widely used skill that’s taught in school

Language is a basic human right however Deaf children are being deprived of this right in Manitoba due to inadequate services, including the closure of the MSD dorm. Deaf children residing in rural areas of MB have poor access to language models and Deaf oeers leaving them with minimal opportunities to acquire language. Thank you for bringing this critical issue to the attention of our schools and government
