Nearly all Cardiff "traffic measures cause more pollution due to braking/accelerating , damage to cars , and the endless delays caused during the works , not a single extra person will catch a bus after these measures are put in place

They tried this ten years ago and ran into massive opposition. The scheme is flawed - where will residents park? Bad idea then CCC; bad idea now. Will they ever learn?

The pavements will be smaller, traffic closer to our houses. Is the increased noise pollution going to be addressed with the council giving us triple glazing? I bought the house with the knowledge I could park on the grass verge, when this goes, where am I meant to park? I feel not being able to park near your property devalues it,are the council going to compensate us for this? Buses rejoining the main road will increase congestion, not decrease it! I wonder if any of the planning committee reside on Caerphilly Road? Hmmm

Ridiculous idea. Consult the residents, who have severe problems parking outside their own homes already.

Ii agree that this is a measure that will only add to the congested roads in the area.A waste of public money in a time of austerity.

The cars turning right into Rhydhelig Avenue will cause a major hold up back down around the interchange. Crazy

Who first thought of this - the road planners or a Councillor? Either way a dumb idea.
