I was under the impression that the buses ran for our benefit and to cut down traffic going into Cardiff!

What a regressive move by this council, not surprised though, knee jerk reaction with no lateral thinking.

Ridiculous proposals. We should be trying to increase the use of public transport, not penalising people who rely on these services. Fare increases and reduced services is just pushing people away. Was there any consultation? Where's the evidence to support these harsh cuts?

How can the Council expect to achieve 50% modal transport (between car and public transport in the outlying areas of Cardiff when there are minimal alternatives to the car !

Service reductions will penalise those that are most dependant upon buses i.e. pensioners & non car owners! Arriva trains are likely to be very pleased.

Some of the highest paying poll tax - how can this be justified?

Cutting buses will only increase the numbers of cars on our roads. We do not want that in Cardiff.

I can only re-emphasise how appalling is that a huge amount of money is spent by the Labour party in Wales on the Cardiff Airport whilst cuts to day to day transport are planned. Very very frustrating indeed.

This useless Labour led Welsh Assembly can waste 52 million pounds on the loss making Cardiff Airport and then moan about Westminster spending cuts. A bunch of clowns!
