Dayton pound is no longer doing adoptions...euthanizing all animals. They are kept in horrible conditions..no cllean water...no ac/heat...no bedding.this is inhumane and needs to stop!! Together as a community we can make changes. Only one council member even talked to us.. Changes need to made!!!!!

dayton animal control has shut down the dayton pound to the public and pets can no longer be adopted please help us stop the killing! they are not on a 72 hr hold and there is no chance of animals getting adopted! also they have uneducated people putting the animals down @ cost the animals may be in destress because there uneducated on how to humainly euth. the dogs are kept in cages that have concrete with rebar sticking up that hurts them! the food bowls are dug out of the dump which is where the pound is! there is no one that feeds waters or cleans there cages on weekends! we need all the help we can get to get justice for these poor animals!

The photos coming out of the facility are horrific and heartbreaking. I am currently reaching out to local news outlets to force an inspection.
