Although I understand the need for controlled trapping, there is no excuse for this practice of leaving the young to die.
Responsible trappers should be trained and certified in ecological habitat conservation.

We need to find ways to share our Earth with all wildlife. There are definitely methods that will allow humans to achieve their goals without harming wild animals

Trapping beavers for nuisance removal is useless. It never solves the problem. Flow devices have worked for so many municipalities. I hope Kingston and surrounding areas will all adopt these new, more modern and humane methods of beaver control.

Really !!! Kingston supports abuse & death to animals?? Whats wrong with our city & taxpayers!! Somerhing needs to b done to higher up people & authority to ban this!! Beavers have a right to live OR allow others to shoot people shooting beavers that dont agree with beavers being shot !! Whats the difference when basing on individual thoughts. Sad...very sad

Find an alternative solution. Trapping and killing beavers shouldn't be the best and only considered option. I expect more for our historically significant animal than a return to trapping
