If you walk the bluff, you can observe that the jets now fly over your head instead of over the Back Bay. During July, 2017 the jet noise interrupted patio conversation frequently. This condition never happened before the first of this year.

The fashion island and eastbluff side of the bay had been hit hard. It sounds like war zone in our backyard, we cannot keep our windows open and cannot enjoy our backyard. This is ruining the atmosphere of our beautiful Newport. The FAA and airlines have complete disregard for our community. Something MUST be done to fix this situation. It's unacceptable!

Your FAA dictated change in the departure flight path from SNA is arbitrary and capricious. We can no longer have conversation in our patios.

There is more concentrated noise and pollution from planes departing John Wayne Airport. The new Federal Aviation Administration's Metroplex has made a bad situation worse for those of us living under the flight.

The change has been horrifying in terms of safety. The planes are incredibly lower, noisier and more dangerous to those below. No one cares about those in the direct path.

I live in Eat Bluff - When the flight paths changed I noticed a significant change in the noise level. The noise has dramatically increased when I'm outside talking to a neighbor we have to stop at conversation because the plane noise is too loud to hear each other ! Please move the flight path back to take off over the bay out into the ocean and I'm not of the homes schools and churches !

I have honestly been affected by the change in the departure routes. The planes are incredibly loud over my house compared to a few years ago.

I moved here to East Bluff and 2004. The airport was very much under control, the airplanes backed off as they went over Back Bay and there weren't as many planes. It was a completely tolerable situation. Now that the pilots know how longer have to back off there Take off when they go over Back Bay it's much louder and there are many more planes. Because of this reason my husband and I are looking to sell our home and move out of the area. You have ruined this housing area and you're going to ruin more. I hate the airport and I didn't used to feel that way.
