Stop JWA Noise Now!

We need to force JWA to reduce the number of flights, Take off only during the hours agreed on and fly straight down the back bay with noise abatement to continue. JWA is polluting the area along with our hearing and they say there woud be no change under the new system which turns out to be a lie and they cannot be trusted. Maybe we should stop all air traffic by occupying the tarmac so no planes can take off.

I can't even sit in my patio and have a conversation when the planes take off. I live in Irvine Terrace (west side)

Why can't they continue flying over the back bay?

I live in Bayshore and planes cut the corner and fly right over Bayshores now rather than over the bay. When the Santa Ana winds are blowing it's worse.

Planes that used to depart JWA peacefully over the water, now cross over our home with significant increases in noise. Before, I could barely make out the tail markings. Now, they are so directly overhead that I cannot see the tails at all. The outbound flight path should return to its traditional path, splitting the back bay and avoiding populated areas and minimizing the noise impact.

The flight patterns must be changed back immediately. The dirt and noise is damaging to our homes, health and property values.

I have studied the flight paths now being used and am dumbfounded. Planes are now flying over densely populated neighborhoods. It's frightening.

It is not only Newport Beach that has suffered with these 'enhancements', but here in Costa Mesa, we have also had our lives impacted negatively. The FAA has let us down again. A business must be considerate of their neighbors, but this is a real let down to that idea. The noise level has increased to a level never before reached. It is an intrusion that does effect our health in many ways.
