These two so called directors/ writers are tarnishing what is already a difficult medium within the film industry; comedy. Using sloppy, predictable and childish jokes on a low budget to rake in as much cash as they can is a disgrace considering how much damage they are causing to the image of comedy within Hollywood. It is a teaching children and teenagers a bad lesson that the class room jokes and funny at the time ideas they come up with are actually viable to get funding and public attention, losing credibility for film as an art form and making young film makers lose sight of the hard work needed to make it within the industry. Not to mention the unneeded childish spoofing that is causing damage to the franchises they are mocking. Such jokes are finely suited to television but to advertise this as a cinema event is just bad taste as it shows a great level of disrespect to the film makers who work hard to create the franchises these people are mocking. These films are replicating their hard work on a low budget and then doing nothing but disrespecting them with awful jokes. The artistry and work that go into these stories should not be copy and pasted into horrible un-inventive films that are made from the very same industry that made them. Would FIFA create a team of comic football players for peoples entertainment? No. So Hollywood should be more responsible in supporting the work of all studios and not showing such a level of immaturity in childishly spoofing and replicating good material with cheap and lazy values.
