Georgia! STOP IT IN 2022--Commercial Sex Exploitation of Children in Georgia!
SIGN ONLY IF YOU ARE A CITIZEN OF GEORGIA AND AGE 18 OR OLDER.
TO: All state representatives and senators who are members of the 2022 Georgia General Assembly.
Current Georgia law allows a defendant in a Commercial Child Sex Exploitation Case the legal defense that the minor stated she/he was 18 years of age, or older. The law must be changed, in 2022, so that a defendant who purchases, or obtains in any way, sexually explicit photos, videos, or other images from a minor, there shall be no legal defense that the minor stated they were 18 years or older.
The signatures on this petition represent citizens of Georgia, age 18 or over, who support the change in the law by the Georgia General Assembly in the 2022 Session.

The feedback from those in the capitol is frustratingly slow but I am still processing their responses. It takes a heavy toll to keep pushing for this change while watching the system stall. I am exhausted by the pace of this but moving forward is the only way to protect these children.

Lock them up and throw away the key. My kids are growing up in this world and it scares me to death.
Do your jobs GA reps. This needs to change immediately.
Ridiculous laws. If they are a minor it should be a crime period. No excuses.
How is this even a legal defense in 2022. It makes me sick to my stomach. Fix this now!!
I am beyond disbelief that this COULD have passed THIS YEAR and DID NOT. Shame on the politicians who failed to do their duty!

Protect our children! Stop all criminal sexual soliciting towards children & teens - make criminals accountable regardless to situation!!
