Inhuman treatment of our elderly. Many feel they would rather be dead, totally disgraceful.

Totally wrong locking these people away from the comfort and support of their loved ones

Sometimes loneliness and isolation far outweigh other concerns about getting ill, particularly when you get to a stage in life that you haven’t got many years left! It should be a choice that can be made!

This behaviour is disgraceful. The elderly have given the lives to this country and deserve to spend time with family and friends. They've paid their way now let them enjoy their time

So sad I can't visit my 90 year old Mother.
She has been I'll all week. Heartbroken not being able to visit.
Thank you to all the staff for the kind care she is receiving.

I really feel companship not seeing their family is/will have more of a detrimental effect than any covid could have, I know if it were me, and having spoken to many/having worked in Elder/End of Life care this is what everyone wants, their family. I know I too would rather be with/see my family regardless of any perceived negative consequence. If you can't have your remaining years with your family, is life really worth living, I feel not.
