Stop isolating our elderly in nursing homes from their families

People should be allowed to visit their sick and elderly parents under strict conditions - PPE and sanitising and social distancing enforced.

It's just cruel

We cannot get this time back. Please support our loved ones.

My mother is in a nursing home and my brother is in care. The separation over past months have been heart breaking for all concerned ..

I think it’s so cruel what’s happening to the elderly in homes... it needs to stop now, they need their family’s

This is a heartbreaking scenario, please make this happen, so that people can see their loved ones

It is imperative elderly people maintain communication with family and friends this is what they know and depriving them of this is tantamount to manslaughter because that is what is happening they are dying inside

This should not be happening, it is so wrong in this day and age for loved ones to be torn away from everyone and everything they know, trust and love

My mum is starting end of life and my family need to wait till she’s unconscious and dying before we can visit. We minded her for 10 years and declared unfit to live at home. Loneliness is no different to covid 19

visits need to be put back on its in humane whats happening now loneliness and isolation is a bigger threat than covid

The elderly have earned the right of dignity

This is very hard for families with relations in nursing home
