Leave the kids alone! Stop the communist idea that the state owns the kids----kids belong with their families.

Involuntary committing a child without parental consent is the equivalent of kidnapping. It is 100% a criminal action. Period. The fact that we have to protest this is just unbelievable.

This is so inhumane to both kids and parents. Also authoritarian, this violates the civil rights of individuals.

The involuntary committment of anyone, child or not is a violation of an individual's human rights. What's next? Taking people of the street to these places because somebody thinks he might be a danger to himself or others? Who says. As a law it opens the door to a Stalinesque police state. No!!!

No child should ever be examined with a parents consent! It is the parents job to protect them. How can they do this when the child is incarcerated against his/ and or the parents knowledge/concent. This is an extreme violation of parental rights and human rights and an abuse of children. The Baker Act needs to be stopped.
