This is absolutely unacceptable and is a very slippery slope.

This is a travesty that must be corrected. Whatever happened to patient rights? Whatever happened to parental rights?

Please stop this involuntary commitment of children in Florida. This is just wrong! There are other solutions. You can contact CCHR.org for them!

my 7 yr old boy was admitted to aspire aka lakeside yesterday. I was informed after 415p by the state officials. School called 5 min before 4pm as I was on the phone with Aspire. Police told my child he was going on a field trip. My son was not told why he was being taken from school for his behavior.

It is not a disease to be a child! It is a crime to commit them into psychiatric care!

I've been working to keep children out of psychiatric wards and off psychiatric drugs for thirty years. Normal childhood behavior is being dubbed as "insane" by psychiatric drug-pushers and money of big pharmaceutical companies. It must stop now. It is killing the next generation.

To whom it may concern. Would you approve your child to be removed from the school you dropped them off at to go to a ward for 72 hours without your consent? Why would any one think this would be okay?
