Stop Imam Asim Hussain From Retreating As A Imam

No one is perfect, we are all human and humans make mistakes. Imam Asim has the title of an Imam and has done a lot for the muslim Ummah/youth but at the end of the day he is human. He changed the lives of many for the better. And who are we to judge? If a person makes a mistake or sins it isn't publicised and isn't judged but because it is an Imam all of a sudden it is fine to shame and judge? People seem to have forgotten all the good he has done because of this mistake. How does this outweigh all that good. He isn't perfect, no one is, we all make mistakes and it is our job to learn from them and through these mistakes we better ourselves. Only Allah (swt) has the right to judge a person. As Muslims we shouldn't publicise a person's mistake. He has repented and it was heartfelt. May Allah (swt) help all us to keep on the path of the seen. Ameen

A distinction needs to be made between a ‘mistake’ and an ‘intentional wrongdoing’; the former is an act which can be forgiven, due to it being done unintentionally and the latter is an act which is done whilst knowing its wrong. Therefore, the latter action can be forgiven provided that one has sincerely repented and does not commit the same ‘intentional wrongdoing’ again. However, if the behaviour continues then it cannot be forgiven as its now become a habit. Also, there is a standard of behaviour which is expected from a layman and a learned man; the layman has a lower standard of behaviour and can be forgiven depending on the action done. However, the learned man can’t be forgiven due to a higher standard of behaviour expected from him. Therefore, using one's public role to ‘fish for victims’ is definitely classed as an ‘intentional wrongdoing’ and not a ‘mistake’. Thus people shouldn’t get confused with the two terms. Additionally, taking into consideration the fact that such behaviour has been repeatedly been carried out by a shameless sexual predator for many years, it’s something which must be disciplined within the Courts. Furthermore, I thank the victims for coming forward and I hope that you're given justice in this life as well as the next. Please do not hesitate to contact the Police ,so his behaviour can be disciplined legally and then he can be placed on the Sexual Offenders Register and prevent him from abusing more victims. In addition, @Sister Rummana Shaheen (if it’s the real you, and not someone, pretending to be you) you shouldn’t have deleted your video or relevant Facebook posts. What is the actual truth ... This whole thing has caused a million more rumours to be created and it's tarnished Imam saabs reputation and tbh his life too. He really doesn't deserve that. His mistake was a private matter and should have been dealt privately. By making it public and revealing only half the matter has only worsened the it. Give him his Imaamat back. He's a good and honest member of the community who has served us over the years better than any religious leader we've ever had! I knew nothing about Islam before him

Imam Saab allah tests those he loves and he (swt) loves it when we repent and we are all humans and we do make mistakes the biggest of scholars out there I’m sure have made mistakes but who are we to judge allah is the all knowing and all forgiving turn to Allah not us in Social Media and inshallah Allah will put your affairs aside and There will always be those haters out there that will try pin point everything but alhamdulillah we are the fortunate ones that allah allows to repent and turn back to him. Imam Saab I am only 15 but in my younger years I looked at your videos about bad boys and gangsters and whilst lying in bed laughed at the jokes and then watching videos about mother alhamdulillah it brought tears into my eyes and I will never forget the video, but for now Imam saab keep doing what your best at and that is serving the Ummah of the beloved Mohammed pbuh.
