As-salamu alaykum, Just as it is important to believe in God’s mercy and forgiveness, it is also necessary to base human relations on forgiveness. We cannot expect God’s forgiveness unless we also forgive those who do wrong to us. Forgiving each other, even forgiving one’s enemies is one of the most important of Islamic teaching. In the Qur’an, God has described the Believers as: “those who avoid major sins and acts of indecencies and when they are angry they forgive.” (42:37) In the same chapter, God says: “The reward of the evil is the evil thereof, but whosoever forgives and makes amends, his reward is upon God.” (42:40) Sadaqa Allaah al-'Azeem

I have personally known imam Asim when he started out doing speeches in different towns and cities he is a honest and catering person.We all make mistakes but he has repented .May Allah(swr) forgive him

He is a great imam and I listen to allot of his lectures. Nobody on planet earth DOES NOT COMMIT SINS nobody is perfect! Please don’t retreat from being an imam as this a great test from Allah swt

Very bad person used to follow him but he’s nothing but a fraud

I stand with imam asim as he is honest in all his speeches and can not go away. I will stand with him through what he has gone through and he is the main imam to believe on his words that are said. I stand and accept the apology no use for me to do this because I am part of him inshallah and love his speeches.

None of us are innocent. We tend to look at other people’s flaws and easily criticise them. Yet we don’t reflect on our own selves to improve our spiritual condition. You have shown exceptional fortitude in bringing to light your private and personal battles. You have probably saved more souls than you can imagine. Please take comfort from that. This hadeeth was narrated by al-Tirmidhi, (Kitaab Sifat al-Qiyaamah wa'l-wara',2429), where the wording is, "Whoever shames his brother for a sin will not die until he does it too." May Allah swt protect the ummah and keep us away from slander, May Allah swt accept Imam sahibs repentance.
