He has made an public apology that’s good enough Asim has done loads of good things over the years so why is everyone looking at 1 mistake or wrong doing look at what good he has done for this community

No one exactly knows what he did and if it was that bad he would be investigated by the Police. His input is more positive then negative, helped many youth going astray.

I don’t actually understand one thing, why have all these women that accused him of abuse have gone to report him to sheiks/Imams. Not one has gone to the police, are the all related?? Lol. Common sense anyone can make anonymous allegations. I seriously think it’s a inside job, people can’t digest someone’s success. Truth won’t hide for long. And by the way to the haters, u won’t get far with your hatred. Allah swa can only decide not you guys

People there is a HUGE distinction between abuse of trust by an IMAM and Joe public.
If a doctor sexually exploits his patient he is struck off even if he was an Einstein. If an IMAM has used his position to sexually exploit a convert this is unforgivable. What kind of message are you sending out to your own sisters with a petition that says its forgivable for an Imam to abuse their position of trust? He is not denying any allegations and it is clear he has sexually exploited a female for his sexual whims. What planet are all you guys from? Our Islam has the highest standard and the role of Imam can never be compromised. Otherwise you are compromising the musalla, the masjid and the integrity of all that is sacred. The word Imam means leader, who leads by EXAMPLE. This means your standards are higher than Tom Dick and Harry. If you fail to live up to the privileged Imam title by having a sexual encounters with a revert then you are not fit to be an Imam whatsoever. Im shocked at the fan type mentailty of most people on here who treat this imam as a kind of celebrity. He has dishonoured the symbol of the 'Imam' and the heavy burden it places on an Imam.
He has fallen on his own sword and this should be a lesson to anyone else who holds a position of trust to NOT ABUSE YOUR POSITION EVER. Those that are saying he should be forgiven are not thinking of the implications and message you are sending by allowing this ABHORENT behaviour an Imam can never ever be excused from.

Salaam. What a great scholar/imam/ person he is. We all make mistakes, the best is the one who learns from them. Which with the help of Allah he will be one of the best. So lets try and give him a chance. Havn't we done enough damage as a community, that we trying to get rid of something good fhat has happened to us for a long time. May Allah help and guide us all to be better human.

Imam Asim has changed the youth and has made them better people. Everyone has a personal life and that is private and not for discussion. The Imam has repented and Allah knows best as he is the All Knower. Please see the good he has done to society before making a judgement.
