Imam Asim has done wrong and sinned but has publicly apologised for his wrong doings. I feel Imam Asim should rectify and ponder over his mistakes but should be allowed to return to his Imam status.

After recent events following the private affairs of Imam Muhammad Asim Hussain, he has sincerely repented and made intention to amend his mistakes however certain individuals have called out for Imam Muhammad Asim Hussain to no longer be Imam so we are requesting you to accept the matter that he made a mistake but is recitfying this however we still need him as our Imam as he benefitted many youths including me so please sign this petition to show your support in this.
If you still hold the opinion that he does not deserve a second chance then i respect your opinion and let you be but I am a beliver of that Lord who gives bigger sinners many chances, if the Lord can forgive a sinner then who are we, we should hate the sin but not the sinner

He's admitted his mistakes and asked for forgiveness publicly from his victim(s) and the general public. Give him time now to prove it.
If you want to judge him before he's proved his sincerity, remember Allah SWT is the final Judge.
Don't expect forgiveness for yourself but punishment for others.
