This is a tragic state of affairs and requires Nation Parks to get off their backsides and do what they are supposed to be doing, protect all our wildlife areas from this type of thing happening!!

The sad reality is that the fishermen who are netting probably don't have any other work or way to earn a living and put food on the table.
So there also needs to be a balance where they don't overfish but can still provide for their families.
Thus a sustainable solution needs to be found that balances the needs of the local communities, who survive from fishing and the needs of commercial tourism activities.
Generally the existing laws would suffice to keep that balance and it just needs the means and more importantly, the will, to enforce the laws for the benefit of everyone.
