The government should enforce the law to stop illegal deforestation by funding the police so they can patrol the forest areas. The reason the government should do this is because when people cut down trees, they release the greenhouse gasses that are stored inside of them. When people do too much deforestation, it pushes the already endangered species to the brink of extinction. Some evidence of this is in Kalimantan. The orangutans who live there are forced to go out of their natural habitats which can cause some serious trouble for them. If their forests are destroyed, they might not have enough food and space to live. This also applies to all the animals that live in the forests. This is because studies show 80% of all animals lose their habitats as a result of deforestation. So because of this, the government should enforce the law to stop illegal deforestation by funding the police so they can patrol the forest area.
