A threat to over 4 million acres of wildland in Wyoming must be stopped at all costs! And NO public input makes the decision even more disgraceful.

If it was a conservation organization asking for a new WSA, Cheney and company would call it a land grab. Looks like Ms Cheney is doing the grabbing.

I would like to call her Representative, but she hardly represents the vast majority of citizens in Wyoming or the US. HR 6939 is at best disaster for not only the last remaining special places in Wyoming, but completely disregards sustainable tourism that can off-set the boom and bust cycles. Words cannot describe how she thinks she has right to propose legislation that will terminally eliminate what is left of the public land counties. Unfortunately she has no shame nor cares about Wyoming.

I oppose house bill HR6939 and all other bills removing protections from wild lands!

Cheney opposes public input on HR6939. That circumvention of democracy is unacceptable. Wyoming must have better informed political leaders.

Wild lands, pristine only come once in 100,000's of years. Please do not remove protections now. If we really need to exploit them in, they'll be there for that truly desperate hour of need which we are nowhere near. Please, these lands need to be protected, not stripped of their protection.

This is not a bill for the people or Wildlife of Wyoming. This is a bill for Big Oil.

Wilderness land belongs to everyone in the United States. There is less and less undeveloped land every day. What we have should be protected

Stop Cheney's bill. Project the wilderness, animal habitat, sacred sites.

This nothing more than a sadistic, immoral, land grab by Ms Cheney for her puppet masters in the oil/gas industry. She cares not one whit about Wyoming or the people that liver here

Liz Cheney is not a good representative for WY. These are Our Public Lands. She already voted to allow all the Wild Horses in holding to be killed! Our Wild Horses & Our Public Lands! I was so sad she got re elected. I hope God removes her.

This bill has had no public involvement. Defeat this bill and start over with public input.

Untrammeled places in WY are truly some of the last, best places on earth...and, as such are hugely desirable places for light-on-the-land tourism, bringing both visitors and new residents to WY. They will be even more so in the future as every other hill and dale will be occupied, developed, and industrialized. This bill is so short-sighted. How many metaphors are appropriate?...like: "killing the goose that lays the golden egg", "a penny saved is a penny earned", "shooting one's self in the foot", "a stitch in time saves nine". History will not look kindly on this.
