Please help stop the proposed housing development in quensway Hurley. The local council and waterloo housing are proposing to develop at least 15 houses for now just off Queensway Hurley. The plans show that clearly a gap has been left for extension of the proposed road which will lead to more country side being taken for more house development later. We can not allow our lovely countryside to be taken by these so called house developments. Queensway is already a busy road and a few cars have already been written off in queensway. With an additional 30 + vehicles using the road health and safety will only get worse in Queensway. Hurley village is in danger of loosing its identity as a rural village because of the proposed housing development being proposed that will lead to more later. A few people managed to attend the village hall event on 20th October and expressed their feelings of the development,. However, not everyone in the village may be aware of this as waterloo has only posted a few letters and have been very underhanded about this. Please help stop these people taking our countryside. where will it stop.
