This is not in anyone's way. Most of us grew up with this and it is ignorant and stupid to even think of removing it or fining the shop. It's harmless and fun. Leave it alone!

Having lived in Inverness for the first 21 years of my life, this figure has been a childhood memory of my home town. It has been there since before I was born and has never caused any issues before. The council seem fine to install modern sculptures in the middle of a narrow pedestrian zone but a classic path side ornament is suddenly not allowed.
