The 'Butcher' has been in its current position since I was a child and is of no danger or harm to anyone. It is used as a referance point by many as he is so well known. Leave it damn well alone

Why would you remove such a tourist attraction? I have a B & B and our guest have had their photos taken with it. It is unique.

Not only do they want to take away the character of the old town but to give fines as well. They are just trying to distroy the beauty and character but get money on top of that so they can build a prison in an green area where their are a lot of families living. Truth....its all about the money and in the process make the town ugly and characterless. That statue at the butcher has harmed no one for decades. Let it stay.
