It has been on Queensgate for so many year it's almost part of Inverness's history. Rather than removing this, why not focus on getting the junkies and drunks away from the castle and tourists.

This jolly butcher brings a smile to so many. He is part of a world that has sadly disappeared due to changing standards. We need to keep traditions otherwise our future generations will only see pictures in a book.

Instead of trying to hurt the businesses even more than they do, they should concentrate on getting rid of some of the dummies that blight the town centre with drink and drug's. .
