Concentrate on solving the more concerning issues of run down buildings, empty properties, undesirables gathering & homeless people begging all within the city centre. I cringe to think what tourists must make of it all when they visit us. Leave the butchers alone!

Shops on High streets are fighting for their lives. Councils should be fighting tooth and nail to bring back the life and personality town centres used to have. Make our streets FUN places to be. The jolly butcher figure is one of the few things left that help do this. To All counselors, get off your bureaucratic, expense laden, unhelpful b/sides and give our communities as much help as they need to succeed. That is your true job !

Seriously? Highland council believe they can do this?
This must be stopped - highland council are clearly acting on behalf of some other financial interest group and attempting to bully small businesses! ( possibly one, or several, of the big supermarket chains ). This is nothing short of blatant legalised thuggery.
