My 2 young sons rub this butchers tummy every time we visit. We say hello to it every time we pass just as I did growing up!!!! Absolutely scandless that they are threatening to remove it or they have to pay thousands to show it. Highland council are an absolute joke!!!

Leave it alone it's been apart if Inverness and the butcher for a very long time, it isn't a trip hazard , or obstructing any pavements , you would be better sorting the rest of the town out from empty shops , building work scaffolding, it's an embarrassment for tourists.

I think it's appalling that the council are trying to have this removed. It's part of the city's history and adds character to an otherwise dull part of the city!!!
