It's part of Inverness, there's really no need to be pulling a stunt like this, waste of time

So many things the highland council could and should be focussing on and this is what they do instead. An absolute disgrace.

Highland council should realise that this sign is an asset to the town centre and stop bullying small businesses.

There has never been a problem with this before the council need to leave things alone and start dealing with actual problems! Anything to try and rob the public

Why remove yet another piece of Highland history when it is causing no harm? Focus on real problems.

This model has been there for at least 40 years that I can remember. He is part of our community. People have been walking past him without incident for all that time.
Generations of children have had their photos taken with him. What PC rubbish that he is an obstruction. There is more room around him than on some pavements I could mention in Inverness.
I think you might rethink the decision to move him. There is more feeling about him than you realise. I am 73 and I am seriously considering chaining myself up to him!
